She regrets letting her grades slip when her sister was in rehab, ensuring she’ll never break away from the rumor run, small town she lives in. She regrets breaking up with her future football famed boyfriend Brayden Turner out of fear of getting hurt, but most of all she regrets every decision she made leading up to the night that changed her life forever.

It’s only after Brayden cuts her off completely that Mackenzie realizes how much she wants him in her life.

Can Mackenzie find the courage to learn from her mistakes and move forward of will she spend her days consumed with regrets? Is it too late to convince Brayden she wants him in her life and that she’s in it for the long haul? Most of all, can she accept that sometimes bad things happen no matter how hard you try to protect yourself from them? Can she put it all behind her or will she live an unfulfilled life full of regrets?

About the Author:

Danielle Sibarium

Danielle Sibarium grew up as an only child of divorced parents in Brooklyn, New York. Her imagination was developed at an early age. Surrounded by stuffed animals and imaginary friends, she transported herself into a fantasy world full of magic and wonder. Books were the gateway between her play world and reality. On any given summer afternoon she became Snow White sweeping and cooking for the dwarfs, or Cinderella waiting for the prince. Danielle always loved dialogue and in elementary school began writing plays and short stories. This is when she began to understand she could not only bring her fantastical world to life for herself, but she could enchant others as well. And so she wrote. She wrote and wrote and wrote. Sadly the first piece she ever sent out for publication of any sort was a letter to the editor of The Home News Tribune. It was a piece of thanking the first responders for their bravery and selflessness on Sept. 11th. It was chosen as letter of the week. In 2007 Danielle collaborated with Charlotte Doreen Small to write songs for her CD More. Danielle wrote the lyrics for Take My Hand, and Goodbye, while Charlotte contributed the melody. In October 2011 Danielle’s debut novel For Always was released. She has since released The Heart Waves Trilogy, Heart Waves, Breaking Waves, and Waves of Love.  Danielle graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University with honors, and currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and three children.

Her latest book Waves of Love kept me glued to my iPad, even when I knew I had to get to bed or I would not be able to function the next day. It was totally worth it. It’s been almost a week since I finished the book and I’m still thinking about it. Yes I’m obsessed with the Heart Waves Series. Anyway let me stop now, because trust me I go on and on. So now get to know Danielle a little better.

And Now It’s Time For:

author's studio

1.What is your favorite word?

Mommy. It encompasses everything that’s important in my life.

2. What is your least favorite word?

Can’t- it convinces it’s user that things are not possible. As Jordan in For Always often says There’s nothing you can’t do if you want it bad enough.

3. What turns you on?

Ballroom dancing, especially the Latin dances. OMG when they are done well, there is nothing sexier than a Paso Doble or an Argentine Tango!

4. What turns you off?

True chauvinism is a huge, undeniable, major turnoff.

5. What sound do you love?

The sound of my children laughing when they are letting loose with a true hardy laugh.

6. What sound do you hate?

I equally hate the sound of nails being dragged along a chalk board, and the sound of my little girl shrieking when she doesn’t get her way. I mean it gives me chills. You think something terrible happened, meanwhile, she’s just trying to convince us to give in to her.

7. What is your favorite curse word?

Can I say that on here? Fuc* You know what letter goes there. As a word, it’s wonderful. It can be a noun, a verb, an adjective, adverb, interjection or an exclamation. Do you know any other words that can literally be anything?

8. What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?

I would’ve liked to be doctor. I always loved medicine.

9. What profession would you not like to do?

A dog walker, or dog poop picker-upper. After three kids, I’m done with poop. lol Wouldn’t want to be a nurse for the same reasons.

10. Tells us something no one knows about you?

Very few people know that I  was an extra on the Cosby Show.
