I’ve had a great opportunity to meet a lot of great authors on Twitter and London is one of them. We’ve become good friends who love to disagree. Sometimes I feel like he’s an annoying younger brother. With that said I thought you could all get to know the inner workings of London Cole in the Author’s Studio.

HERE’S A LITTLE ABOUT LONDON
London Cole is a YA Paranormal author living in East Texas, US. When he’s not writing or outlining he can be found doing laps in his pool, playing a rock concert, or any of a variety of outdoor extreme sports. London’s debut WHISPER WALKER is a Dystopian Paranormal based on the island he was raised on, Whidbey Island. Only, it’s the island eighty years after the Third World War, and everything is a lot different…and a lot meaner.
And Now Time For The
1.What is your favorite word?
Facetious or Ominous. Can’t decide between the two. “Facetious” because I tend to be quite facetious and love to throw the word at other people, who often don’t know what it means. “Ominous” because it tastes good. Yes, words can taste good.
2. What is your least favorite word?
Irregardless. MS Word doesn’t even think it’s a word! But sadly, it is a word recognized by Miriam-Webster. It sounds awful, it tastes worse, and technically its own roots are redundant and superfluous.
3. What turns you on?
Uh… Hmm, sarcasm and witty banter. Being able to have a verbal sparring match with someone without them taking anything personally. Guitars. I collect guitars as my wallet allows (yes I also play them). On a physical note, huge fan of jean shorts, white spaghetti strap tank tops and low top Chucky T’s.
4. What turns you off?
Eighties and Nineties clothing styles. Pop music.
5. What sound do you love?
This is another challenging question. The sound of bacon frying or coffee splashing into a cup.
6. What sound do you hate?
There are so many of them––most anything dragging across a chalk board or sudden jarring noises.
7. What is your favorite curse word?
Dumbass. It may not exactly be a curse word, but it’s so much fun to say. Just think about the origins of the word! Who was so riled at someone that their vocabulary was limited to lumping together two words that weren’t supposed to go together. “Dumb” and “Ass.” It pretty funny to imagine.
8. What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
Full-Time musician. I’ve gotten pretty close to it three different times in my life, but it’s always fallen through at the last second. Yes, a girl was the reason the first time.
9. What profession would you not like to do?
Anything on Dirty Jobs, really. Hell, I’ve done some of them anyway and have no desire to do any more.
10. Tells us something no one knows about you?
Dear God. Everyone always asks this and I’m running out of things to say. Hehe. Hmm, I’m a bit of a lumberjack. I drop (dead) trees all summer and part of the fall for everything from firewood to milling into lumber for furniture and building.
